Please be aware, Cheryl does not provide legal advice.
Note: Coaching is not to be used as a substitute for therapy or counseling nor as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, mental health, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals.
Coaching is available to individuals who reside in the United States.
No, coaching is NOT the same as therapy.
Therapy is a healing profession that typically focuses on the past. It’s about processing your emotional history or diagnosing and treating mental health issues and the therapist uses their expertise to help you work through unhealed emotional traumas – “why” things happened.
Coaching is about the present and the future. It shifts the emphasis from "why" to "how to," keeping focus on the current situation and actively developing plans for the future.
Coaching is completely private, safe and confidential. Cheryl follows the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Private, on-on-one coaching sessions are conducted via phone or video conferencing (Zoom.)
The purpose of this coaching session is to provide support and education to help individuals understand the financial and emotional considerations involved in marriage breakdown that can lead to divorce.
It is not intended as a substitute for legal advice nor to discuss matters directly related to an ongoing divorce case - those topics are inappropriate for coaching and therefore, off limits.
